It has different names in different places 
In KERALA people named it as ANJILI CHAKKA 
In TAMILNADU it grows mostly in KANNIYAKUMARI which is near to TRIVANDRUM (Kerala) border
So Kanniyakumari people named it as AYANI PAZHAM
